Andrei Popa has a long history of more than a decade being part of the team of the restaurant el doncel
He studies Restoration Services Management at the Teruel Hospitality School
He has earned the Advanced Level Qualification for Professionals – WSET nivel 3 in Wine, which credits him as an expert sommelier with a detailed understanding of grape growing and winemaking.
Evaluates wines with exquisite precision, managing his knowledge and experience to explain in detail and with confidence the style and quality of each wine to diners
He is a lover of his profession with a tireless spirit of learning and improvement
When he most enjoys he is at the moment that he transports the diners with each harmony on a unique journey through wine regions, landscapes and regions.

El doncel’s winery has a wide range of national and international references
Among them, we can find some of the relics kept by the Pérez Ibáñez family, unique collection bottles of brandy, cognac, anise and vermouth from 1800, 1808 and 1840
El doncel is committed to small producers, those wines that touch our sensitivity, excite us and finally seduce us, but without forgetting the classic wine regions of the world and their producers with a long oenological tradition, together with the best selection of wines from our region.
